Chance impressed by United’s young talent

While newly-signed Assistant Coach Jacob Chance may have only just arrived at Melbourne United, he's wasted no time in immersing himself within the club.
Following time spent in the offseason with the San Antonio Spurs and Brooklyn Nets, Chance is looking to impart all of his coaching wisdom onto United’s players.
One player who the 29-year-old has gotten to see up close is Development Player Campbell Blogg, who has shone during the club’s weekly ‘Open Run’.
While he may have been unfamiliar with Blogg’s game coming in, Chance told Melbourne United Media he has been impressed by what the Sandringham Sabres product has shown so far.
“I didn’t know a lot about him (Blogg) but seeing him the past couple of days it’s clear that he’s put in a lot of work both from a physical standpoint and a skill development standpoint,” he said.
“I’m sure the last year he spent with the club has really put him in a good place to succeed moving forward.
“I’m excited by the way he competes and gets after it every possession which is what you want to see coming from a guy looking to grow as a pro.”
Blogg, who at 19 was named as the Sabres captain for their NBL1 South campaign, is coming off perhaps his best game of the season; a 28 point showcase against Diamond Valley.
