Melbourne United is excited to announce that this season’s Open Air Game on 23 December will feature a spectacular fireworks display at halftime, proudly supported by John Cain Arena, home of Melbourne United, and the city's premier venue for basketball.
Following the success of the amazing, first of its kind pyrotechnics display in NBL24, this year’s halftime extravaganza has been months in the making and will aim to be even bigger and better.
Excitement for our annual marquee game of the regular season is already sky high, with only around 200 tickets remaining to see our clash with the Tasmania JackJumpers.
Speaking after The Open Air Game last season, star Ian Clark touched on the spectacle of the event.
“It’s definitely one of the biggest games that I’ve played in,” Clark said.
“It’s a fun environment, obviously it being a packed out crowd as well with the fans coming out. It’s hard not to get up for.”
