How UIB has brought businesses together

A huge focus of the United in Business (UIB) program is not just to put our Members in a room together and them discover connections, but instead to actively work to put them in front of who they most want and need to speak to to best benefit their business.
Across our collection of amazing events, our UIB staff are always working to find out what our Members need most, and connect them with a relevant fellow Member.
This has been the case for David Sanza of Systima, who touched on his experiences as a UIB Member when it comes to generating new leads.
“UIB is not just a network, it’s created tangible leads for us,” he explained.
“We’ve been a part of a number of different sports business programs, and generally, they just throw you in a room together and provide some contact lists so you can call each other.
“The big difference we’ve found with UIB is that the staff are actively involved. They’re asking us ‘Who do you want to meet? What sort of business do you want to get in front of?’ and that makes a huge impact.
“It’s not just introductions. They’ve sat down with myself and other businesses to work through how we can help each other, which is really valuable. It feels like we’ve got an extra member of our sales team.”
