Ili, Clark, Vickerman named as award finalists

United stars Shea Ili, Ian Clark and Head Coach Dean Vickerman have all been named as finalists for major awards at the Andrew Gaze MVP Awards night.
All three will be looking to claim their respective awards for a second consecutive season.
Shea Ili is up for the Damian Martin Trophy for the Best Defensive Player, alongside Wani Swaka Lo Buluk (Illawarra Hawks) and Will Magnay (Tasmania JackJumpers).
Ian Clark is in the running for Best Sixth Man, with Kouat Noi (Sydney Kings) and Will Hickey (Illawarra Hawks) the other finalists.
Finally, Dean Vickerman will look to win his fourth Lindsay Gaze Coach of the Year award. Justin Tatum (Illawarra Hawks) and Josh King (South East Melbourne Phoenix) are the other pair of finalists.
The All-NBL First Team, All-NBL Second Team, Executive of the Year, Referee of the Year presented by Europcar, Gametime by Kmart Award, Fans’ MVP presented by Chemist Warehouse and the Three Pointer of the Year presented by Mitsubishi Motors Australia will also be announced tomorrow night.
The Andrew Gaze MVP Awards Night will take place tomorrow night at CENTREPIECE in Melbourne. It will be broadcast on Kayo and the NBL website from 7:30pm AEDT.
