Injury Update: Jock Landale

Melbourne United star center Jock Landale underwent MRI scans on his right knee today, after suffering an injury in the early stages of last night’s game against the New Zealand Breakers.
Landale had been in dominant form recently and was searching for his seventh consecutive double-double before leaving the game after just 33 seconds of play.
Results of the scans today revealed the injury to be minor.
The club expects Landale to miss this weekend’s home game against arch-rivals the Sydney Kings, but will be reassessed early next week to determine when he would be expected to return to play.
Last night's win against the Breakers marked United’s 10th victory in a row – a new franchise record winning streak and sets up a blockbuster match up against the Sydney Kings this Sunday afternoon at John Cain Arena. Tip off is at 3pm.
