Across world basketball, so much attention goes towards the end result of a highlight play.
It may be a timely three-pointer, a high-flying alley oop, or a thunderous dunk, however what is often lost to many watching these plays is the importance of screening to open up these opportunities.
This is an area that new Melbourne United recruit Fabijan Krslovic has excelled in across the course of his playing career.
Now paired with the league’s best shooter in Chris Goulding, the anticipation to hit the court for NBL26 is already building.
“Chirs is an elite shooter, he doesn’t need much space to get his shot off so I’ve already started thinking about how we can work together and how I can help him find great looks,” Krslovic said.
“That’s just something I’ve found that helps separate me from the pack across my basketball career. Finding ways to make my teammates better or doing the little things that can sometimes go unnoticed.
"It’s always something I’ve taken pride in and I think is fun to watch. If you have a whole team playing that way it can definitely lead to wins.”
