Jack White - Geelong
Jack White came to play in his first outing with the Geelong Supercats, helping Justin Schuellers’ side to a one-point victory over the previously undefeated Mt Gambier Pioneers.
White finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, a block, and the game-winning three-pointer in the finals minutes of action.
Makuach Maluach - Darwin
Melbourne United’s newest addition continued his dominant form in the NBL1 North across the weekend.
Over two games, Maluach averaged 26 points, five and a half rebounds and three steals, while knocking down a quintet of three-pointers.
Shea Ili - Sandringham
Shea Ili showed his value to the Sandringham Sabres over the weekend, playing a massive role as they took home two wins from two games.
Ili averaged 22 points, seven assists, five rebounds and a steal across Round 5.
David Okwera - Sandringham
Activity was the name of the game for David ‘Dsav’ Okwera, as the athletic big played his role terrifically to help the Sabres to a pair of wins.
The highlight of the round for Okwera was his first half against Nunawading, which saw Dsav score 18 points in 18 minutes.
David Barlow - Sandringham
Barlow appeared in only one of the Sabres’ two games, scoring five points and pulling down three rebounds in their 83-82 win over Nunawading.
Dion Prewster - Sandringham
Dion Prewster showcased his playmaking skills over the weekend, tallying 10 assists across the Sabres’ pair of victories.
Mason Peatling - Knox
Entering the starting lineup for the first time this season with Knox, Peatling’s play helped lead the Raiders to another comfortable victory.
He scored 12 points, pulled down six rebounds and dished out five assists in just 24 minutes in the 98-72 win over Kilsyth.
Zac Triplett
Zac Triplett did not take the floor due to a fractured wrist. He has since undergone surgery and is expected to miss the next two months.
Davo Hickey
Davo continued his hot form of late, scoring 22 points in a hard fought, overtime loss to the Frankston Blues.
