Melbourne United to host NBL24 Grassroots Game

Melbourne United is excited to announce the return of the Grassroots Game for the NBL24 season.

A celebration of our amazing Grassroots community and local hoops across Victoria, the Grassroots Game brings together thousands of young players and families to watch Melbourne’s premier basketball powerhouse take to the court.

Last season, over 10,000 fans packed into John Cain Arena for the Grassroots Game and we want this year to be no different!

Taking place on Sunday 8 October, United are calling on teams, clubs and associations to book in their seats and rep their colours in the stands.

Those in their local organisation uniforms will gain access to an exclusive post-match player signing with Melbourne United players.

With amazing prizes up for grabs such as a training session with a Melbourne United Assistant Coach and player, and signed memorabilia rewarding groups with 10 to 100+ people, it’s an unbelievable opportunity to see the best basketball in Australia.

Always looking to support and champion basketball at the grassroots level throughout Victoria, United are looking to shine a spotlight on the clubs and associations that are working hard to develop the next generation of Australian ballers.
