It’s something that Head Coach Dean Vickerman believes provides a tangible home-court advantage each and every time his side takes to the court.

With tickets on sale now for all 14 of United’s home games at John Cain Arena, Vickerman is hoping for as many sell-outs as possible to give Melbourne that extra boost.

“When John Cain Arena is packed and the crowd is really going, it just fires you up like nothing else,” he said.

“They’re there for every play, they’re loud for every stop, every bucket, it’s just something that you can see fuels our guys in big moments.

“From the bench you can feel it. It’s like a wave - you can ride it for multiple possessions and use it to really chance the momentum and flow of a game."
