Squad update: Shea Ili to miss Game 3 of the Championship Series

Shea Ili has been ruled out of Sunday’s game.

Ili received a knock to the head in the second quarter of Game 2 of the NBL25 Championship Series last Wednesday night, resulting him not returning to the court in the second half.

Ili passed multiple concussion tests, including one during the game on Wednesday night.

Despite Ili doing well since the game, he displayed some minor symptoms and the decision was made by club medical staff to place him into the NBL concussion protocols.

Ili’s availability for Game 4 will be dependent on meeting the return to play criteria of both the NBL and Melbourne United.
