Transformers: EarthSpark set to take over United Game Day this Sunday

Melbourne United are thrilled to continue its partnership with one of the world’s most iconic brands, Transformers, following of the release of the much-anticipated new Paramount+ and Nickelodeon series Transformers: EarthSpark.

Encouraging children to work together to unlock their potential through digital activities, school events, & game-day activations, the partnership will emphasise the message ‘anything is possible when you work together and celebrate what makes you unique’ and hopes to inspire a generation of children to become More Than Meets The Eye.

Running across the duration of the NBL23 season, United star and campaign ambassador Xavier Rathan-Mayes spoke about the importance of inspiring the next generation to become the best they can be on and off the court.

I have worked hard in my career as a basketball player and this dedication has allowed me to be where I am today, playing in the NBL,” said Rathan-Mayes.

“The skills I have developed have enabled me to succeed in basketball but are also life skills that have helped me thrive off the court as well. It doesn’t matter where you come from; having confidence and believing in yourself can help you unlock your potential to be the best.

“I’m so proud to be an ambassador for this campaign and to encourage the next generation of athletes to unlock their potential to be extraordinary.”

As part of the partnership, Transformers: EarthSpark will take over this weekend’s Melbourne United game day when the side faces the Adelaide 36ers at John Cain Arena on 5 February, 2023.

The all-new animated series introduces a new generation of Transformer robots called Terrans – the first Transformers robots to be born on Earth – and together with the humans who welcome them in and care for them, they’ll redefine what it means to be a family.

Catch double episodes of Transformers: EarthSpark airing 3.50pm weekdays from February 6 on Nickelodeon.
