United to play trio of games at the NBL Blitz

The tournament will provide fans a chance to see United’s NBL25 lineup on display

Melbourne United’s NBL Blitz opponents have been revealed, with last year’s minor premiers set to play a trio of games at the preseason tournament.

United will headline the opening night of action in a matchup with the Cairns Taipans at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium from 7:30pm on 7 September.

Three days later, Melbourne will head to the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre to face off against the Brisbane Bullets at 5pm on 10 September.

The team’s third and final game will come against its NBL24 Semi Final opponents, the Illawarra Hawks, also at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre from 5pm on 12 September.

Last season, United went undefeated across its games at the Blitz, taking home the Loggins-Bruton Cup at the competition’s conclusion. 

The NBL will announce how fans tune in to watch these games soon.
