Fresh off our second come-from-behind road victory of the Hungry Jack’s Championship Series, Head Coach Dean Vickerman broke down exactly what needs to be done to give us the best chance of lifting up the Dr John Raschke Trophy on Wednesday evening.
Having successfully slowed down the Illawarra Hawks with their defensive acumen, Vickerman believes ensuring our guys play at a pace that favours is crucial heading into Game 4 from 7:30pm.
“If we can just rebound and not turn the ball over and do the things that we did tonight, make the game a little bit slower… tonight there was just a relentlessness about us,” he said in the post-game press conference.
“Going into this next game, the execution is going to have to be on point in everything that we do to close it out. We look forward to going home.”
Vickerman is hoping for the crowd inside John Cain Arena to be even louder on Wednesday evening following the awesome showing from the United faithful in Game 2.
“Our crowd was amazing the other night. We expect that thing to be packed again.”
