Biography
The hot shooting 6'7 guard who starred at Davidson College and became a key part of the Illawarra Hawks NBL finals push last season, is back in Wollongong for NBL25.
While he did grow up in South Korea, is no stranger to Australia having joined the NBA Global Academy as part of the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence program in 2018 and 2019 before beginning his college career at Davidson.
At the Wildcats, averaged 12.7 points and 4.5 rebounds over 84 games in three seasons highlighted by 15.8 points and 6.0 rebounds in 2021/22 while shooting at 39.7 per cent from downtown in the three years.
Since then, played a season in the NBA G League at the Santa Cruz Warriors and the son of a mother who won silver for South Korea in basketball at the 1984 Olympics joined the Hawks for NBL24.
Became a key part of their run to the finals averaging 7.3 points and 3.7 rebounds for the season, but had a best of 24 points against the Adelaide 36ers and averaged over 16 minutes a game throughout the finals.
