Biography
The dual championship winning shooting guard joined the Adelaide 36ers early in NBL24 and was quick to put pen to paper to remain with the Sixers hoping to lead them back to success starting in NBL25.
Was always an exciting emerging talent growing up which led to him attending the Centre of Excellence in 2014 and 2015 ahead of his four-year college career with the University of Miami.
In his time at the Hurricanes, his shooting quickly allowed him to stand out where he made a freshman record 51 three-pointers and put up 13.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in his senior year before returning to Australia to begin his NBL career.
There were no shortage of suitors but the Melbourne native joined the Sydney Kings for NBL21 and he was having a strong rookie season with 15.4 points and 42 per cent three-point shooting before injury meant a premature end.
The next two years saw him become a key member of back-to-back championship winning teams with the Kings in 2022 and 2023. His scoring prowess was on show when he made 10 threes and scored 42 points in January 2023 against the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
He initially left the NBL to chase his NBA dream and sign a two-way deal at the Washington Wizards, but when that didn’t work out he returned to Australia and played out the rest of NBL24 at the 36ers.
He had a tremendous season too with 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists with his leadership as much as his production proving invaluable, which will continue to be needed to help Adelaide in the finals mix.
