Biography
Joins the Adelaide 36ers as an injury replacement player with some stunning credentials including being the NBA Best Sixth Man only four years ago and racking up more than 500 games in the NBA.
Comes to the 36ers ahead of the opening of the 2024/25 NBL season and does so with impressive credentials in his NBA career following on from what he did at the University of Louisville.
Began his college career in the 2012/13 season with the Cardinals and by his last year he delivered 15.7 points and 9.2 rebounds.
On the back of that he was All-ACC First Team in 2014 and then Second Team in 2015 before winning the Karl Malone Award in that senior year as the country's best power forward.
Nominated for the 2015 NBA Draft and was selected at No. 32 by the Houston Rockets and played 41 matches that rookie season in the NBA before improving to over 17 minutes in 2016/16 at the Rockets for 11.0 points and 4.0 rebounds.
Joined the LA Clippers ahead of the 2017/18 season and would spend three years there including putting up 17.1 points and 6.4 rebounds in over 26 minutes in 2019/20 which saw him win the Best Sixth Man award as a result.
Then spent the 2020/21 season with the LA Lakers, split 2021/22 at the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets, and then with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2022/23 for another 59 appearances.
By the end of 2022/23, he had played 549 games in the NBA but ruptured his ACL in August 2023 and now his return to full-time basketball begins with the 36ers to open NBL25.
